The leadership team at Axcess is a group of seasoned professionals with extensive experience in RFID. Both senior management and the Board of Directors work tirelessly to provide an innovative technology solution that delivers superior business value with minimal risk. The mantra of our organization is to keep all oars rowing in the same direction all the time.

Allan Griebenow

President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Griebenow joined Axcess in 1999 as a part of the Prism Video acquisition where he was founder and Chief Executive Officer since 1994. Prior to Prism Video, Mr. Griebenow was President and Chief Executive Officer of Vortech Data Inc. before its acquisition by Eastman Kodak. Mr. Griebenow began his career in 1979 as a Presidential Management Intern with NASA and has since accumulated more than 20 years of experience in telecommunications and advanced applications. Griebenow received a B.S. degree in business administration from the University of Maryland and earned an MBA from San Francisco State University.

Allan Frank

Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Operations

Mr. Frank joined Axcess in April 2002 bringing more than 16 years of experience in financial and administrative leadership, financial planning, and organizational management. Prior to joining Axcess, Mr. Frank served as Chief Financial Officer among other positions at Vast Solutions, Inc. Mr. Frank joined Vast Solutions in 1999 after six years as the Director of Special Projects and Vice President of Business Development at Paging Network, Inc. Frank holds a B.S. from Ohio State University and a MBA from the University of North Texas.

Raj Bridgelall

Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Engineering

Mr. Bridgelall joined Axcess International, Inc. in September 2006. Prior to joining Axcess, Mr. Bridgelall served as Vice President of Research and Development at Alien Technology. Mr. Bridgelall was also Chief Technologist for RFID at Symbol Technologies, where he held a series of positions in engineering and R&D over a 14 year period. His innovations and inventions at Symbol led to numerous successful commercial products including IEEE award for “developing the bar code industry's most advanced and versatile laser scan engine.”

Mr. Bridgelall is named on 62 U.S. patents and 48 more U.S. patent applications. He obtained both B.S.E.E. and M.S.E.E. degrees from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Mr. Bridgelall was named a Tau Beta Pi Fellow in the National Engineering Honor Society. In 2004, he received the IEEE Charles Hirsch Award “for major contributions to the development of radio frequency identification technology and products.” His most significant publications address the performance optimization of wireless communications and laser scanning systems.

Ray Cavanagh

Vice President of Worldwide Sales

Mr. Cavanagh brings to Axcess over 25 years of experience selling high technology solutions to Fortune 1000 companies, government agencies and educational institutions. Prior to joining Axcess, Mr. Cavanagh was Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales Operations at OpenService, Inc., a software developer of Network and Security Information Management Solutions. Mr. Cavanagh started his career at Minolta Corporation's headquarters based in New Jersey.

Cavanagh holds an Executive MBA from Northeastern University in International Business where he also completed his undergraduate studies. He has also taught Sales and Marketing courses at Bentley College. Prior position also held senior executive roles at Entegrity Solutions, Aprisma, Newpoint Technologies, Interleaf, PictureTel, and Wang Laboratories.

Ben Donohue

Vice President of Business Development

Mr. Donohue joined Axcess in 1999 as part of the Prism Video acquisition where he was Director of Products since 1994. During his tenure with Prism Video, Mr. Donohue managed the team that developed and marketed patented proprietary video compression technology in commercial products. In his current position, Donohue maintains strategic major accounts such as Honeywell, Stemco, and Digital Defense. Mr. Donohue also manages the Business Development efforts related to new product introduction, major project management and Professional Services.
